Andrew Wood's Lyric Sheets, Art Work and Autographs
Lyrics
The Wood family would like to thank all all of the fans of Andrew Wood who have kept his music and memory alive in so many ways.
As any family who has lost someone they love of celebrity status, there is the balancing of our personal relationship with Andy,
along with his extended family in the outer world, who loved and still love him.
It is because of this that we have decided to share some of the personal and creative memorabilia that exists in the estate of Andrew Wood.
We have boxes and boxes of amazing writings, drawings and other items that represent the life and brilliance of Andy,

the early days of MALFUNKSHUN and the Seattle music scene, that are sitting in boxes in the darkness of the garage.
The question arose, as we moved and carried these treasure with us: “What do we do with these to bring more honor and life to what is now in the darkness of boxes?”
It was a difficult, but obvious decision, to give them life again and share them with those who love and understand the creative and personal brilliance of Andy as an individual and as an artist, along with his co-creative life with his brother Kevin in MALFUNKSHUN.
Andy and Kevin, together in MALFUNKSHUN, are known as laying the foundation for the Seattle sound that changed the face of rock n roll.
Andy’s music lives on and Kevin has gone on to keep the MALFUNKSHUN creativity and music alive and is currently writing and touring.
Those of us who cherish Andy keep his spirit alive, each in our own way.
Music is a life force that never dies – it lives on beyond the lives of the musicians that express it.
After carefully sorting through the many boxes of Andy’s belongings, and keeping those things that have personal meaning to us, we are offering select items that have historical significance, and possibly personal meaning, to those who love Andy and his music and treasure the contributions of MALFUNKSHUN to the early days of the Seattle music scene. Certain items have also been offered up to museums for preservation.
We hope you will treasure and honor any items that may make their way into your world.
With love and appreciation for all who love Andy and the music that was his soul,
The Wood Family
